DAIRY FREE CHEESY BROCCOLI SOUP | THM FP

This hearty, warming, broccoli soup is thick and delicious as well as subtly cheesy – without dairy. As written, it’s a low fat THM FP but also suitable for Deep S meals. Add some olive oil to the soup or a liberally dressed salad on the side for a fabulously filling and slimming meal.

– 1 1/2 cup fat free broth (chicken, beef, or veggie for vegan soup) – 1 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk – 4 cups broccoli (12 oz package frozen) – 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast – 1 to 2 teaspoons high mineral salt – 2 teaspoons onion powder – 1 teaspoon garlic powder – 1/2 teaspoon paprika – 1/4 teaspoon black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon gluccie (glucomannan powder) OPTIONAL – 1 teaspoon Simply Sunflower Lecithin OPTIONAL – Cayenne pepper or hot sauce OPTIONAL – Dynamic Duo Greens Powder OPTIONAL

1. Blend broth, almond milk, broccoli, nutritional yeast, garlic and onion powders, paprika, salt, and pepper until as pureed as you prefer.

2. Pour into sauce pan and bring to a simmer over medium high heat.

3. Simmer for 5 minutes.

4. If desired, thicken with gluccie by sprinkling and whisking at the same time, whisking until thickened. OR if you know you'll want to use it just blend with everything else.

5. Add cayenne pepper or hot sauce if desired.

6. Before serving, stir in desired amount of Dynamic Duo Greens Powder, if desired.
