It’s that time of year again…a pain in the neck for some, for others it’s almost like winning the lottery – Tax Time. This year, we had a winning lottery ticket and I’m at the local coffee shop (ssshhh, don’t tell Starbucks…) taking my new toy for a spin.

Now, it’s not just a toy…I plan on using my cutie little Netbook to bring in some income from home. If I was truly being frivolous, I would have bought myself a big ole laptop with a bunch of bells and whistles. But this little guy will get the job done. And besides, I like the portability factor – I can put it in my purse, even when it’s in its little neoprene case. And I don’t have a big purse, either. Not a tiny one for sure…I tried that before and it’s just so not me!

Right now I’m sitting here at the coffee shop waiting on my friend Heather the Homesteading Hippy to get her butt in gear and get on the Skype.
