Since we observe the 7th day Sabbath in our family, I don’t do any blog work from sundown on Friday to sundown Saturday.
This time is a much needed “island of rest” I look forward to every week. Time to disconnect from the busyness of every day life, time to study scriptures, time to fellowship with other believers, time for family.
I pray your home is filled with shalom (peace…and so much more) during this all-too-brief respite from life.

I use Sunday as my day of rest but do not have a routine that I follow for the day. Do you?

Hi Katherine,
We have a weekly fellowship we attend as well as occasionally host in our home so it’s somewhat like when we went to a Sunday church.
I don’t really have a routine necessarily but I don’t cook or clean, don’t do any shopping, we read scripture (our fellowship reads through large portions each week and discusses them) and often watch short video teachings. Then go to fellowship for about 7-8 hours. We worship, read and discuss our scripture portions for 3-4 hours, then have a meal together and time to fellowship as friends. It’s my favorite day of the week!
Thanks for stopping by!
